Serena was as much of a crybaby as you'll ever find one. There are very few ways of pleasing her: Feeding her stomach or showing a cute guy before her eyes. If she doesn't get her way she gets down on her knees and cries like a baby. Serena first meets Luna when a bunch of people were picking and teasing on the cat. Serena stood up to the bullies and took Luna home with her where she treated her wounds and scars. After taking off the bandage, Serena discovers a moon crescent upon the forehead of Luna. When the Negaverse creates chaos, Luna reveals her identity to Serena. At first Serena thinks this is all a dream. Suddenly, flashbacks occurred in Serena's mind: of her moon kingdom being destroyed, of the Negaverse, of her mother... Everything becomes clear now and Serena transforms into Sailor Moon.
Serena has major crushes on cute guys, but she ultimately falls in love with Tuxedo Mask. It isn't near the end of Sailor Moon R that she discovers Tuxedo Mask's true identity. When it was revealed that Serena was the Moon Princess, she was very reluctant to carry on the responsibilities. After all, all she wanted to be was a normal teenage girl at heart. It seems the only reason she chose to complete her destiny to become the Moon Princess was so that she could be with Prince Darien (Tuxedo Mask's future self). Overall, Sailor Moon is a very weak individual without her friends around, especially when her self-confidence is shattered. However, when someone is in trouble and only she can help, Sailor Moon becomes a very powerful and highly skilled superheroine...with a little encouragement from her friends, the Sailor Scouts.
Sailor Moon has numerous amounts of techniques and attacks that she can use against the Negaverse. It comes with the responsibility of being the Moon Princess. Which is her most powerful attack? Take your pick. In my opinion, I'd say it's the Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Although she wastes much energy in the process, the Moon Spiral Heart Attack does indeed have its rewards.

This pen was given to Serena by Luna, a mystical black cat. Serena says "Disguise Power!" to disguise herself to go where she could not go in her regular school outfit.
This wand was also given to Serena by Luna. With it, Serena can transform into Sailor Moon, and later on Princess Serena. She also uses the wand to heal the people who have been possessed by monsters as well as destroying the Negaverse creations and Queen Beryll.
This crystal holds the key to the future of the Moon Kingdom. A thousand years ago when Queen Beryll invaded the Moon Kingdom, Queen Serenity (Serena's mother and Queen of the Moon Kingdom) enclosed all sailor scouts and the Negaverse inside the crystal to keep Queen Beryll from destroying the universe. This crystal was formed when the seven shadow warriors were united in the hands of Sailor Moon before Prince Darien is killed. The crystal revealed Serena as the Moon Princess. Serena combines its power with the power of the Crescent Moon Wand to destroy Queen Beryll and her minions. Unfortunately, after she used it, none of the Sailor Scouts retained their memory.
